Measure By Measure

I have been feeling a little dissatisfied with my apartment the last couple of days, Pinterest can do that to a gal. I have a lot of great pieces I like and the overall is good but it tends to get really cluttered looking when I am home knitting away or painting, and, as I spent the last 3 weeks doing both...well, feeling a wee bit claustrophobic.

Today a dear friend and I went for lunch (very disappointing meal) then we did a little tour of a few home furnishing stores in search of a piece for my walk-in closet. I need something to help with the clutter. Waaaay too much yarn, way too little space and while a yarn cluttered store can be charming, it ain't so cute in a livingroom.

A new storage option plus the massive accessories clean up I am working on should go a long long way to making me feel a less restrained by my possessions. So we visited a few lovely places looking for the perfect piece in an effort to get my mojo back. Trying to recapture the luv.

Could not find a thing for my closet. Disappointed, I am.

I did pick up a couple of really cute non-storage related pieces (yep, what my life needs, more little pieces to add to the clutter).

From one of my fave stores, Châtelet Home

The bottle is perfect for my homemade lavender mouthwash. The measuring spoons...well, how could I resist!?

Takes some of the sting out of coming home (almost) empty handed.
