Let's Just Face It

I admit, I am a bit of a slacker. I also admit to frequently biting off more than I want to chew (I could chew it, there is no doubt but I tend to lose interest mid-chew).

You see, I get really enthused about new ventures be they big Life changers or be they the smaller things I get into to keep me out of mischief (never works as I tend to turn the littlest thing into an opportunity for making mischief).

You see, I want to blog more. I want to knit more. I really really enjoy taking pictures and I can't help but blah blah blah all day long. You would think it would all come together and create an unstoppable blogging machine. *she shrugs* But alas, I have yet again, bitten off more than I care to chew. Not that I don't want to do any of these things but with all the other things happening in my life; work, the dude, my undeniable laziness, I tend to run out of time and energy long before I run out of interest. Believe me, I still have tons of interest, just very little of the other two factors.

Plus, I keep creating avenues of sharing all of which require more time than I am frequently able to give. But I am working on it. I am. I am trying to carve out more time for all of my interest.

To this end I have picked up stick after the bulk of the year free from knitting. I mean, I really really enjoy knitting/crochet, it helps relax me and as I apparently have become extremely stressed the last few years, what with 6 hours or less of sleep on a regular, long long days in dark studios, and frigid cold out of town locations...anyway, blah blah blah...I'm stressed and picking up pointy stick seems to offer some relief.

Long rambling way to it but...my new project is some kind of toque, not sure yet what it'll look like, winging it as I knit but I found a lovely yarn at Lettuce Knits one day while we were filming in Kensington Market and it screamed at me to knit. So, I bought it and now I really regret not buying more of it. Let's see what I do with it, shall we!?

Yummy yarn
