The Little Things (Yes, Mistress)

To me, a lady is never fully attired until she has added those little accents, those touches and flairs which add a touch of personality, that hint of something more, something glimpsed briefly. These are the things which truly make a statement.

A darling hat at a jaunty angle, a pair of bold gloves, that ethereal scarf knotted about ones head and neck, or the metallic glint of a beaten copper watch and fob. Details, it's all in the details.

Added touches of faux suede ribbon
My Crowning Glory hat, pattern to come,
worn with silk head wrap.

Crochet hat made with Filatura Di Crosa's Adhoc Maxi (discontinued) and decorated with faux suede ribbon from Mokuba. Quick, easy, fabulous.

Added beads to give the alpaca some weight.
I seem to be stuck on this colour combination.
Elf Clobber
Warmers, knit and crochet, from a pattern, Elf Clobber, by Schnuddel Kerstin. Check her Rav page here. Americo Cotton Merino, Susan Andrews alpaca, sock yarn and dozens of amber beads. Great pattern, quick project, satisfying results.
